Winter through the Ages

On Friday 5th December, the inspirational Hands and Voices (the first ever singing & signing choir) will be bringing you their annual Christmas performance – ‘Winter through the Ages’.

We are delighted to be performing again at the National Centre for Early Music, and during the evening we will take you on a journey of winters throughout history, from the 13th Century to the modern day. The choir will be entertaining you with a wide range of music, from haunting Medieval Melodies to modern day hits, and as normal, you can expect a mix of well known & loved songs, and new works written by choir members themselves.

Hands and Voices will be joined in this performance by Creative Sound & The SoundWeavers, two music technology groups who will be performing their own multimedia pieces using an exciting range of live performance and pre-recorded sounds. All three groups are run by Accessible Arts & Media (the newly merged charities of Accessible Arts and Cube Media).

Tickets for the performance are £7/ £4 and are available from the National Centre for Early Music Box office: 01904 658 338 / box-office@ncem.co.uk. Carers accompanying members go free.
